Fordson WOT 1 A1 Monitor crash tender 1945
This crash tender came to Debach 2004 from Wiltshire. It was built at Dagenham and after being fitted out went into service in 1946 at RAF West Maling.
Prior to purchase, this vehicle had already been restored. It’s condition was good and apart from regular maintenance, no work has been done on it. This vehicle is very rare and believed to be the only monitor in the country.
The 1945 Fordson WOT1 A1 Monitor Fire Crash tender has found a new home at the Museum of RAF Firefighting, having been at Debach for nearly 18 years.
